Topology-Aware Overlays

Description

A core issue in P2P networks is to take into account the underlying network to route (Proximity Routing Selection) or to choose neighbours (Proximity Neighbour Selection). This central topic have received a lot of attention in the literature but few real P2P implementations support it. A recent effort (P2P) aims to create a framework between ISPs and P2P systems to improve proximity aware services.
