SocialDNS is a novel naming infrastructure for locating information in the World Wide Web. It is a free software project that maintains and resolves domain names under a new URL scheme (go://).

Users can obtain names for free in new TLDs (.blog, .name, .socialdns, ...) and organizations can manage their own TLDs (.ibm, .sun, .barcelona). Everyone can test go:// addresses in www.socialdns.net and we invite users and organizations to enter this public network.
